Babysitting is not a job, it is a responsibility. The sitter is responsible for the life/lives of human beings in their care. There is much to learn about caring of children. If an emergency should occur would you know what to do? Would you know who to call? Would you know how to give first aid? All of these instances requires professional training and without it you should not be taking care of someone elses' children. The liability is much too large.

Sitters should be properly trained and certified.
